Fairly clean hotel, incredibly nice and polite employees for on call manager. Extremely spacious and absolutely gorgeous rooms, overlooking courtyard. Reasonably clean bathrooms with a tub.

I greatly enjoyed the classic-style building and large room with a queen size fold out couch. Everything seemed really good, clean. The location was good - within walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go.

The room was fantastic and gorgeous and the bathroom was impeccably clean. It was in a great location around 4-6 minutes away by foot from a historic park. Took a walk around city center, located just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The hotel has a great and perfect location, to nearby attractions. Plus, this venue is right by Frenchmen Street and the Jazz Museum as well as all the amazing restaurants and Bourbon st where all the partying happens.

Thoroughly enjoyed our rooms with a kitchenette. Everything seemed great, fairly clean and the staff were affable and superfriendly people for on call manager. The location of the hotel was marvellous and lovely - a 10-15 minute walking distance from a historic park.

Fab, absolutely perfect location in Faubourg Marigny district next to French quarter and Frenchmen street, downtown and all the amazing restaurants and Bourbon st where all the partying happens. Nice bedroom. Nice bed, easy check-in. The pool area is very clean too. Free internet, parking on-site.

My overall experience at Jean Lafitte House was great! The location was perfect, close to Frenchmen Street and within walking distance to Bourbon Street. The hotel had two bedrooms and bathrooms, which was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to cook our own meals. The beds were comfortable and we had three TVs with multiple options for entertainment. Despite some noise from the street, ear plugs helped to mitigate any disturbance. The manager, Jason, was very helpful and accommodating.

The room was separate and with soft beds. The location was great and incredible - not far from the French Quarter and the Marigny as well as Bywater. We visited Ruben's Taqueria, based minutes from the hotel.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in the heart of the vibrant French Quarter. The hotel is a beautifully renovated historic building complete with modern amenities such as a kitchenette and WiFi. Its location is perfect, just a short walk away from popular attractions like Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. Despite being close to the action, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and well-equipped. it was a great opportunity to experience the authenticity of the area without breaking the bank.
