Our stay was delightful! The location offered easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful escape. I loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchenette, making Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. Jason, our host, was incredibly responsive and helpful—a true treasure! We had an awesome time with friends! Just a short distance to the Superdome makes it perfect for catching games. We loved cruising Bourbon Street with a Hurricane in hand. The apartment had clean rooms and great amenities. Just remember the access code process for check-in!
However, a bit of a hassle was not receiving the access code before our arrival, which caused some confusion. Make sure to get that sorted out before you head over.

However, reaching our suite from the main entrance had some accessibility challenges.

My stay at Jean Lafitte House was pleasant overall. The room was spacious and well air-conditioned, providing a refreshing escape from the warm New Orleans weather. The location is ideal, just a short 10-minute walk to the French Quarter, making it convenient for business meetings and leisure activities. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to assist with any needs that arose during my stay.
The check-in process could be improved as I did not receive the door code ahead of time.

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the Two Bedroom Suite. The historic decor truly captured the essence of New Orleans. Having two bathrooms was a game changer for us. The location was excellent, just a short walk to both the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. It felt safe and charming walking back at night. The air conditioning worked well, giving us a cool retreat from the heat outside. However, the water pressure in the showers was really low, which made rinsing off frustrating. Check-in could've been smoother. I didn't receive the access code ahead of time, causing unnecessary stress upon arrival. Despite these issues, the friendly staff made up for a lot of the inconveniences. Jason was particularly helpful.

The stay was fantastic with our room featuring a lovely four-poster bed and charming old furnishings that made it feel so homey. We spent our afternoons relaxing by the sun terrace, enjoying the fresh air and the pool was a perfect spot to unwind. Just a heads up, the shower pressure could have been better, but it didn't take away from our overall great experience! 😊

Digging those homemade muffins while channeling my inner culinary explorer was a delight! The spot's courtyard pool totally set the vibe right too. Oh, and the loft style? Full of old-world charm that gives you all the NOLA feels.
But, y’all, the lack of name on the outside makes it feel like a hidden treasure you might miss. Plus, if you’re after daily cleaning, you might feel that pinch too.
